The Thales Australia Centre – 2 levels above ground: Comprises an area of approx. 8,350 sqm. with exceptionally large floor plates extending over the Atrium Lobby Level and Mezzanine Levels to the waterfront.

Tower 1: Formerly known as Victoria Police Centre – 5 and 10 levels.

Tower 2: Formerly known as Northbank Centre – 8 levels: Floors extend over eight levels above Atrium Lobby with floor plates varying from 1,000 sq.m to 1,600 sq.m. in dimension and 637 sq.m. on the top level. External terrace areas are features throughout the office tower floors of the complex.

Tower 3: Formerly known as Yarra Tower – 10 levels: Consists of floors which extend over ten levels above Atrium Lobby overlooking the Yarra River with floors varying from larger plates of 2,108 sq.m. on the lower levels to 670sq.m. on the 10th top floor level.

Tower 4: Formerly known as Matthew Flinders Tower – 14 levels: Extends over 14 levels above ground level with typical floors of around 730 sq.m.


Floor to floor distance typically 4,450mm on the ground level and upper floors 3,720mm, floor loading 4.0kPa, to the main office areas, 7.5kPa in designated compactus locations, plant rooms, 5.0 kPa to the Atrium Lobby level public areas, 3.0kPa to the car park areas and 4.0kPa to the balcony areas.


Central core to Tower 4, Side Service cores to Tower 3 and Tower 2. Two lift cores service Tower 1. Lifts aligned in dedicated lobbies for the five office towers.


Energy efficient fluorescent lighting is installed. Emergency lighting and exit signs, separate EWIS systems service the new Thales Australia Centre and office towers, centrally located main distribution frames and PABX, block cabling through risers to office tower floors.

Lift services include fully modernized lifts with computer control and logic systems. In total, 20 passenger lifts service WTC and VPC: four 20 passenger lifts to Tower 4, four 20 passenger lifts to Tower 2 &l Tower 3 and eight 20 passenger lifts (in 2 banks of four) to Tower 1. Tower 1 also has a dedicated lift from ground to Level 1. Six escalators are designed to service the World Trade Centre complex, Atrium Lobby Level and Mezzanine Level, with a capacity for 8000 persons per hr. One dedicated goods lift services ground, car park levels 1, 2 & 3 and Level 1 within Tower 3.

Loading dock access for goods delivery via goods lift is provided in two locations from the service loading dock area accessed from Little Dock Road and also within the car park ground level of Tower 3. Goods lifts serve all car park levels up to Atrium Lobby Level.
